CAT 2024 Sequins on painted paper on canvas. 3’ x 4’ This big CAT started with a painting of a calendar of September. During the process of making the calendar got flipped upside down.(You can see the backwards S in lower right corner and parts of the numbers throughout) This is the second sequin piece. I began to play with creating dense areas of sequins. The CAT emerged after about 5 months of work on the piece.
